This Privacy Policy explains what information Bakantify (“Bakantify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use the Bakantify website and application (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your first and last name, email address, password, your WhatsApp number and/or a general contact phone number, and how you intend to use Bakantify (as an advertiser, a publisher, or both).
  • Publisher verification information: confirmation that you've saved our official WhatsApp contact, plus a screenshot you submit as proof, which we review before approving you to post ads.
  • Advertising content: images, video, captions, and links you upload to create ads.
  • Proof-of-posting screenshots: screenshots you submit showing the view count on your WhatsApp Status, used to verify and calculate credits.
  • Payment information: if you purchase credits, your payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your card number — only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with Stripe's own transaction reference.
  • Administrative records: we keep a record of certain actions taken on the platform (for example, when an ad or proof is reviewed) for accountability and to help resolve disputes.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking — only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in.
  • We do not access your device's precise location; the “locations” you select represent the general audience areas for your WhatsApp Status, chosen from a list we maintain, not GPS data.
  • We do not store your IP address in our own systems — it is only checked transiently by our bot-protection provider during signup.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create, secure, and verify your account; to review and approve ads and campaigns; to review proof of posting and calculate credits earned; to process credit purchases; to send essential account emails (confirming your email address, resetting your password); and to maintain records needed to investigate misuse or disputes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Bakantify:

  • Supabase, for our database and file storage
  • Vercel, for hosting the application
  • Stripe, for processing credit purchases
  • Cloudflare, for spam/bot protection during signup
  • Resend, for delivering account emails (confirmation and password reset)

We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your information is stored using our hosting providers' infrastructure. Screenshots you submit and ad content you upload are stored privately and are not publicly accessible — only you, and authorized Bakantify staff performing a review, can access them. Administrative actions taken on your account or content are logged for accountability.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can update your profile information — including your name, contact numbers, and audience locations — at any time from your account.

Bakantify does not currently offer an automatic, self-service way to delete your account or download your data. To request deletion of your account or a copy of your personal information, contact us at info@bakantify.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a request.

7. Age Requirement

Bakantify is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

8. Where Bakantify Is Available

Bakantify may be available to users in various locations, and available advertising areas or features may vary by location.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
